The Twin Alu 2 shock absorbers are designed for demanding riders on open roads. They are designed to optimize comfort and handling.
On this model, the two knobs are used to set a synchronized rebound and compression ratio, but distinguishing between large amplitudes (or high speeds) and small amplitudes (or low speeds) of shock absorber operation.
This makes it possible to adjust comfort and stability independently, without making compromises.
Spring preload is set using an easy-to-use 5-position ratchet system.
Unlike emulsion shock absorbers, the Twin Alu 2 maintain consistent suspension quality and good ground contact despite poor road conditions or high temperatures.
The springs and hydraulic characteristics are selected by EMC according to the general load condition and use specified by the customer.
The shock absorbers are delivered pre-set and ready to install.
Hydraulic preload option
This option replaces the traditional method of spring setting by a hydraulic system. A thumb setting wheel taken up on the frame, or in certain cases directly on the shock absorber, the control the prestressed of the spring. This way of setting is very useful on a motorcycle of tourism to pass of a state of load in an other one as well as in competition to save time of development during the tries and in race during pitstops.
